Prepaid Punch Cards
Punch cards will be available for purchase either at the Town of Jacob’s Clerks office 23 N Grant Street, PO Box 184, Glidden, WI 54527, or at the recycling center itself.
Cost for punch cards will be $30 for 15 punches or 15 bags, and $10 for 5 punches or 5 bags. You can use your own garbage bags for garbage, however, recycling items need to be separated out, rinsed out, and put in separate containers, bags, or boxes.
Recycling items include the following
- Aluminum containers
- Corrugated cardboard
- Foam PS packaging or containers
- Glass containers
- Plastic containers #1 and #2
- Residential mixed paper (includes magazines and office paper)
- Steel/tin
Major appliances/bulky items can be disposed of at the Recycling center with the purchase of white good stickers which are available at the clerk’s office and Lumber Yard. $8.50 stickers to dispose of mattresses, furniture, TVs, but no metal items and $10.50 stickers to dispose of all metal appliances and other large metal objects.
Banned Items for Recycling
Banned recycling includes and not accepted at the recycling center include:
- Waste tires
- Batteries
- Oil
- Used oil filters
